NYSC set to introduce Biometric Thumbprint for CDS meetings.

Be informed that the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) has concluded plans to be using biometrics system during Community Development Service (CDS) Meetings.

This was revealed by an NYSC official in Lagos state. According to the official,  the new system is to combat ghost corpers. The biometrics thumbprinting will be done every week during CDS meetings. The NYSC I.D. card will be needed for thumbprinting and failure to thumbprint for up to two times a month is an automatic knockout for monthly clearance.
